Haywards was established as a fine dining restaurant in 2013 by Amanda and Jahdre Hayward. In 2019, they were awarded 3 AA Rosettes and, over 10 years, have built a fantastic reputation for their excellent menus, creative, seasonal dishes, and providing service of the highest quality.
Now, the husband and wife team will be focusing on offering bespoke events, catering, private dining, conferencing and a regular schedule of ‘experiences’ to be held at Haywards. These experiences will include Sunday roasts, monthly and seasonal tasting menus, jazz evenings, and wine dinners.
Located on the outskirts of the charming market town of Epping and at the very edge of the historic Epping Forest, Haywards is the perfect setting to host your event.

The limited menu will include our homemade sourdough bread, amuse bouche, a choice of starter, main course and dessert, with petit fours to finish.

Saturday 7th March – March Tasting Menu
Join us for our March Tasting Menu, a carefully curated dining experience celebrating seasonal flavours. The evening starts at 7 pm and includes a four-course tasting menu, an arrival drink, homemade bread and amuse-bouche, followed by a pre-dessert and petit fours to finish. Guests may also choose to enhance their experience with a British cheese course and a paired wine flight, available as supplements. This is a perfect opportunity for a special night of relaxed yet refined dining, with limited availability, so advance booking is recommended. £77.50 pp.
Friday 13th March- Nyetimber Wine Dinner
Due to last year’s successful event, we are delighted to welcome you back for an exclusive Nyetimber Wine Dinner, an elegant evening celebrating one of England’s finest sparkling wines. This set three-course menu includes an arrival at 7 pm with a glass of Nyetimber, homemade bread and an amuse-bouche, followed by three expertly matched glasses of Nyetimber paired throughout the meal. The experience is completed with a pre-dessert and petit fours. The evening will be hosted by our Nyetimber wine experts, who will guide you through each pairing and share their insight along the way. An optional British cheese course is also available as a supplement. £92.50 pp.
Sunday 15th March- Mother’s Day Lunch
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a special lunch starting at 1 pm. Your experience begins with an arrival drink, accompanied by homemade bread and an amuse-bouche, followed by a set three-course menu, a pre-dessert, and petit fours to finish. Guests can also enhance their experience with a British cheese course and a paired wine flight, available as a supplement. Saturday 28th March- Spring Tasting Menu
Join us for our Spring 5-Course Tasting Menu, a celebration of the season’s freshest flavours and finest ingredients. The evening begins at 7 pm and includes an arrival drink, homemade bread and amuse-bouche, a pre-dessert, and petit fours to finish. Guests can also choose to enhance their experience with an optional British cheese course and a paired wine flight. This is the perfect way to enjoy a relaxed and elegant springtime dining experience. £85 pp.

Friday 10th April- Chef's Table!
Indulge in our exclusive Chef’s Table experience — an intimate, limited-seating evening beginning with arrival at 7pm and a seasonal cocktail, followed by five refined courses and complimentary signature extras, with personal interaction from the chef throughout. Please note, no menu will be provided in advance, and, due to the nature and style of this event, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements. £85 per person, with an optional wine flight available at a supplement.
Friday 17th April- Australian Wine Dinner
Starting our New World Wine Tour, join us for an exceptional evening celebrating the bold, vibrant and diverse wines of Australia. Your evening begins at 7pm with a welcoming arrival glass, followed by warm homemade bread and a carefully crafted amuse-bouche to set the tone. Enjoy a thoughtfully curated three-course menu, expertly paired with a selection of premium Australian wines, each chosen to complement and elevate the flavours of every dish.
